Trudy A. Cobb

Funeral services for Mrs. Trudy Cobb, 80, of Oxford, will be Thursday, November 30th, 2023, 1:00 p.m., at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary with Rev. Michael Cox and Rev. Chad Pesnell officiating. Burial will follow at Jacksonville City Cemetery. The family would like to welcome friends at 11:00 a.m. prior to service time.

Trudy, or more affectionately known as “Granny” was born in Hobbs, New Mexico on July 9, 1943, and went home on November 24, 2023. Waiting to greet her in Heaven were her parents, Thomas L. and Millie Ann McDonald, and her sister, Jessie D. Hay.

She impacted many lives in her years of ministry. She truly loved Jesus, and she truly loved people. Her boys say, “Mom inspired us to love God and love others.”

Trudy’s love extended well beyond both of her children. Her legacy of faithfulness lives on through her younger sister Joyce Giddens (Danny), two sons, Tommy Graham (Terri) and Wesley Graham; grandchildren, Cassie Price (Shane), Melissa Ledbetter (Chris), Hudson Graham (Audrey) and Issac Graham; great-granddaughter, Jade Ledbetter and a host of beloved nieces and nephews.
