Weaver - Funeral servicesfor Mrs. Virginia M. Tubbs, 83, of Weaver, will be Tuesday, August

13, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with Franklin McGee officiating and

burial following at Anniston Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday,

August 13, 2013, from 9 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Mrs. Tubbs passed

away Friday, August 9, 2013, in Glencoe. Mrs. Tubbs is survived by her children, Shelia Wagner, of Jacksonville,

Richard (Regina) Tubbs, of Sarasota, Fla., Pat (Dennis) Traywick, of Oxford, Norma (Russell) Ferron, of New

Port Richey, Fla.; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Gladys Nunnelly, of Saks; brothers, Jirel

Rackley and Ray Rackley, of California, Bill Rackley, of Texas, Lewis Rackley, of Oklahoma, John Rackley, of Mississippi

and Earnest Rackley, of Tuscumbia. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Mrs. Tubbs a native of Oklahoma and resident

of Alabama for most of her life and was a member of West Weaver Baptist Church. Mrs. Tubbs was preceded

in death by her husband, Preston R. Tubbs; sister, Martha "Sis" Hurst and brother, Patrick Earl Rackley.
