Walker J Graves

Visitation Service for Mr. Walker J. Graves of Anniston will be Friday April 22, 2022 from 12 pm until 2 pm in Chapel Hill Funeral Home. Funeral Service will follow the visitation on April 22, 2022 at 2 pm at the Chapel. Pastors Cecil Cook, Michael Burdett and Pastor Joseph Newborn for the graveside. Burial to follow at Anniston Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Graves is survived by his son, Terry (Mary) Graves; grandsons, Terry (Christy) Graves, Joseph (Renae) Graves; grandchildren, Calie Graves, Cody Graves, Cayla Graves, Cruz Graves and Cade Graves; brother Royce (Donna) Graves.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Maxine Graves; parents, Thomas Graves and Myrtle Graves; brothers, J.W. Graves and John L. Graves; sisters, Izola Reagan, Thelma Newman and Linda Traffansted; grandchildren, Catlin and Catie Graves,

Mr. Graves worked at a steel plant as a pullman standard, Anniston Army Depot and at the Girl Scout Camp.

He loved Open Door Baptist Church, his family and playing gospel music. He played with Sam and the County Boys, The Gospel Valley Boys, the New Gospel Valley Boys, Walker and The Boys and the Lords servants.
