Frank William Bodine, 86, long time resident of Anoka, MN passed away peacefully on January 12, 2024, at Maranatha Care Center in Brooklyn Center, MN with his beloved wife Cheryl and son Eric by his side. Frank was born on January 8, 1938, in Malmo, MN to Edwin and Florence Bodine.
Frank was preceded in death by his father Edwin and mother Florence (Danielson) and his beloved granddaughters, Heather Bodine, Katie Murray and Ashley Murray.
He was survived by his wife of 43 years, Cheryl, and six sons, Robert (Cindie), Dennis, Donald (Tami Rorvig), Timothy (Deborah), William (Robin) and Eric (Fallie), two stepsons Brian (Susan) Murray and Gerald (Dawn) Murray, his grandchildren, Becky, Allen, Christine, Jon, Tiffany, Megan, Travis, Christian, Noah, Emily, Billie Jo, Cole, Elliot, Bella and Liliana, great grandchildren Hannah and Victoria, and his extended Burns family.
Frank retired from Short-Elliot Henderson (SEH), and in his retirement delivered flowers and worked at the Minneapolis Auto Auction but found the most joy in driving bus for Kottkes Bus Service in Andover, MN, ensuring his kids arrived at school safely and with smiles across their faces.
Frank loved tractors, antique cars, and tinkering in his garage workshop. He enjoyed traveling with family and friends to places such as the Black Hills, North Shore, Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, and several beloved trips to Walt Disney World.
