I was privileged to worked with Ida for a few years with Minneapolis SW&R.  I admired how Ida  brought her full self to work - she was present and funny.  I appreciated her insights and that she always stepped up.  I loved my time with the SW&R team, and Ida was a cornerstone of a great group of people.  My heart goes out to her family and friends, and Ida may you Rest in Peace.  


I was honored to work with Ida in Minneapolis.  Her ethics, compassion, can-do attitude, and willingness to seek new challenges stood out.  She was the first woman to be detailed as Foreman in SW&R, and carried out a difficult assignment admirably and with grace.  Her joy in her family shone brightly, her friendships were steadfast.  Blessed Be, Ida, rest well.

Rest in peace Ida. I worked with Ida for many years and we kept in touch through out our years working for the City of Minneapolis. Ida, you will be missed, you were a great friend. 

I had the pleasure of working with Ida and she made me laugh many times.  She saw the good in people and had far more patience than I.  Love to her family and friends. Hugs!

  I can’t begin to know you pain but I know that losing a loved one is very hard no matter the age.  Not sure when I came to know Ida, but I sure did enjoy getting to know her when she transferred into my job in 2013.  We talked often until she ran out of questions and after that we would just chat from time to time.  Will miss her deeply and know she is has joined her city friends Jan & Darcy.
