Preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Sophie Bruns; brothers, Walter, Ronald and Leslie (Delores) Bruns; nephews, Bradley and Dennis; and niece, Susan. She will be deeply missed by her loving husband of 67 years Dorvan and her 3 children, Bruce, Robert (Kelly), and Janae Foss (personal caregiver); grandchildren, Bryan (Michelle) Foss, Jessica (Adam) McDonnell, Sophia Foss; great-grand children, Bella, Myles, Wenzel, Ellie, and Myah; siblings, Gary (Ione) Bruns and Patty (Ray) Kussatz and many other relatives and friends.
Joyce was born in Duluth and later moved to Morris, MN where she grew up on the family farm. She enjoyed her flower gardens, chatting with friends, Sunday dinners, traveling, and family gatherings. She will be cherished and loved always!
Celebration of Life will be held on November 6th with visitation from 10-11am and service at 11am at Gearhart Funeral Home 552 E River Road, Anoka, MN.
Special thanks to the Caregivers and Hospice nurses that cared for our mother during the last 8 months, they made her final days comfortable and peaceful.
We also like to give a special thanks to Steve "Hogger" Berry for all his help and support in Moms final days.
