I have many memories of Prestin. From his Mona Lisa smile to his sweet personality. 
It always amazed me how his hair changed colors from summer to winter as a child and  how he would charm everyone. Keep loving him  and his memory alive in our hearts, minds, and spirits....

When Preston was little and would visit us or we would see him at family events he would always run up and give me a hug and say " love you Grandma Cookie", he knew I always had some homemade cookies in my purse for him. He stole my heart with his beautiful eyes  sparkling full of love and mischief. Rest easy Preston, Grandma Doddie has you in her arms I'm sure...

I am Ken Strom.  Jessica’s Father  Preston was Jessica’s love and that was evident from the beginning. As the years went by.   Preston was always fun and willing to give a hand at most things.  And having a smile on his face.  He didn’t complain are get to upset about things.     I’ll always remember  his dedication to helping when asked. And how hard he would apply himself.     He helped with our retaining wall. And I am going to name it Preston’s wall.   

Prestin was my niece, Jessica Strom's, boyfriend. They were both young and in love.  Prestin was part of the family for the last 4 years. Whenever I saw him, he was making himself useful. He was always ready to jump in and help, for what ever the situation and always with a smile. But most of all he made Jessica happy.  And that made me happy.  He will never be forgotten. I wish peace, and love and strength to Jessica, and to Prestins family, and to all of us who knew and cared about him.
RIP Prestin. You will be missed.

One of my best memories with Prestin was a night years ago, when I thought I could stomach watching a horror film while on a date. I phoned Miranda and asked if I could spend the night. Right next to her, with the lights on was the only way I was falling asleep. The kids must’ve heard me come over and that I was scared because they snuck up the stairs like ninjas and when they say me proceeded to jump and scare the daylights out of me. Their lil faces couldn’t stop laughing, as was I, they were so pleased that they had “gotten me”. Prestin was love, and anyone who knew him can remember his smile. 

My favorite memory of Prestin is the first time I met him, Miranda and I took the kids to the park and Prestin wanted to walk with me. I still remember how sweet and charming he was, talking about all kinds of normal kid things and then suddenly he lowered his voice and with a mischievous smile he said "want to know a secret?" So I said "yes" and he looked around and then said "don't tell my mom, but I have a LIGHTER!" And he giggled like he was getting away with the best thing in the world. I told Miranda that he stole my heart, he was so adorable that day ❤️
