She was not only our aunt but our  bonus mother,  and our best friend. We have years of memories that we will cherish  forever and a couple of thanksgivings and Christmases that we will always have great memories from getting to spend them with her and all the wonderful memories of her many visits the last few years. She may be gone from earth  but she will forever be in our hearts love from her Kentucky family ❤️❤️❤️

I remember the first time I met Nanny. 17 years ago,  I was 17 years old. I had recently met Aaron, Andrea and Amanda. We went to church and they invited me to go to Nanny's house for Sunday dinner. Her home was packed with family and food. Nanny was so welcoming! She was a busy bee making sure there was enough food on the table and that everyone ate. I remember thinking, what a close family. Sunday dinner was a time where you could step away from the long week, forget about your problems, and just catch up with family. There were some telling stories of memories they had from over the years, a lot of laughter, grand and great grandkids playing, The Andy Griffith show playing on Pawpaws TV, and always a delicious southern home cooked meal made with love. I always left her house with my heart and belly full! Nanny brought us together. Nanny was so loving and compassionate. She was an angel on earth, now an angel in heaven. 

When I think of Audy, the first thing I think of is what a hard working woman she was.  When I was a young woman, it seemed like she was ALWAYS at work.  And if she WASN'T at her job(s), she was working hard at home - cooking & cleaning & taking care of everyone.  The other thing I think of is how much she loved her family & all she was willing to do for them.  I'm guessing that love is WHY she worked so hard to take care of them all!  But my most recent memories are of my time spent with her while visiting FL this past spring.  Though hospitalized & very sick, she still looked so beautiful & smiled that sweet smile of hers...never once complaining of her health issues.  She talked with me as if NO time had passed since I had seen her last...and that had been a long time back.  Then, due to a return trip there for a family funeral a few weeks later, I got the privilege of seeing her again...at home doing MUCH better & as usual....still looking beautiful, still smiling & never complaining. She was a special lady & dearly loved by many.  I've no doubt her passing will leave a great big hole in the hearts of lots of folks....including me!  While she may be gone from this life, she will NEVER be forgotten in my heart.  And I can't wait to see her, Clyde, Judy, Tony & Greg again one day in Glory.  What a reunion that will be!

Unconditional Love and Cornbread. From my earliest childhood memories,  she is there. I grew up in her house  where  the welcome  never ended, and  I found the best cornbread ever made by anyone anywhere.  In every stage of my life, every up, every down, she was there with cornbread.  She was always there. She knew me and loved me with a real and compassionate love. I'm incredibly blessed to have such Godly, strong, beautiful and loving women in our family that showed me how to love above and beyond with God's kind of unfailing love .  I am part of the legacy she leaves behind. I am richer, fuller, stronger, and forever grateful for having her as a role model.  Until we meet in heaven  I'll forever love and miss my Aunt Audy and her cornbread  ❤

THESE ARE THE WORDS THAT DESCRIBE YOU BEST....LOVE, COMPASSION, PATIENT, KIND,  FUN-LOVING, A GREAT MOM & SWEET AS SUGAR. Audy was married to Clyde Sargent, who preceded her in death along with two children: Tony Sargent and Judy Schmitt.  

She is survived by her children: Randy Sargent and Polly Kazmier; her sister and brothers: Evelyn Evans, Raiford Hall, Wayne Hall and Rufus Hall, her 10 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, other loving family members and friends.
