Austin Benito Reyes, 33, was born at Arnold Palmer Hospital in Orlando, Florida, and raised in Winter Garden. He graduated from West Orange High School, where he built lifelong friendships and shared his warm, witty spirit with everyone he met.
Austin’s heart ran as deep as the ocean, especially for his family and friends. He dedicated nine years of service at Publix in the produce department, where he thrived under a supportive manager. Over the years, Austin expanded his skills and experience, working in pool services, welding, fencing, concrete block construction, highway engineering with The Briar Team, and most recently, as a termite technician with Massey Services.
A true outdoorsman, Austin loved fishing and shrimping with his uncles from a young age. He had a passion for motorcycles, was a devoted sports fan who enjoyed stats, and never missed a chance to play basketball with his buddies or spend hours on Xbox. He found joy in movies, classic sitcoms like Seinfeld, and a wide range of music. His humor, always sharp and delivered with a straight face, was unforgettable.
In 2016, Austin met the love of his life on a blind date, and in 2018, he embraced his greatest joy—fatherhood.
He is survived by: Parents; Adam of Daytona, FL, Mother, Amanda of Apopka, FL, sister, Aubrey of Astatula, FL, son, Brayden of Apopka, FL, grandfather, Arthur of Fountain Hills, AZ …and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
A visitation for Austin will be held Sunday, May 4, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, 601 N PARK AVE, APOPKA, FL 32712, followed by a celebration of life from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
