Susan Crozier of Apopka, FL passed away on March 13th 2019 after a short but courageous battle with cancer, with her loving family by her side. She was born in Haverhill, MA to Richard and Lily Hayman, originally attending elementary school in Rowley, MA before her family’s move to Georgetown, MA. Sue graduated from Georgetown High School in 1967, participating in the school newspaper, basketball, softball and football cheerleading.
After high school Susan married James Crozier of Danville, NH and the couple resided in Plaistow, NH settling in Newton, NH in 1978 to raise their family. She proudly worked as a home health aide providing care for seniors throughout Rockingham County. She held several office positions at Raytheon and other companies in the area before relocating to Apopka, FL in 1989 with her family.
After building a new home, she moved into the central Florida workforce holding a number of positions as an account support representative for such lines as Nestle foods and McCormick spices at local brokerage firms, before ending her career with 22 years of service with Allstate Food & Marketing.
Susan loved spending time with family and friends and always enjoyed hosting gatherings at her family home, where her last 2 family pets, Meeko and Blaze, enjoyed her cooking as much as her guests. She relished spending time in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, where she spent her honeymoon and numerous vacations over the years, with Lake Winnipesaukee holding a special place in her heart.
She is survived by her loving husband of fifty years James Crozier, her son James R. Crozier of Portsmouth, NH, her daughter Dyan E. Jacintho, son-in-law David Jacintho and granddaughter Sydney of Apopka, FL. She leaves three sisters and a brother, Barbara Turner and Betty Tibbetts both of Deltona, FL, Margaret Tripp of Salem, CT and Richard Hayman of Alstead, NH., along with numerous nieces and nephews.
