I am sorry to hear of Tommy’s passing. I knew him as one of my customers at united/sprint when I  was with several manufacturers. I continued to talk with him on the phone the last few years and always enjoyed his great humor. He always kidded me being a navy swabby instead of a Marine

My deepest sympathy is extended to Tommy's wife Joanne & family, along with many friends. I worked with Tommy & his wife during our years at the phone company in FL. He was such a kind & jolly person, always smiling & laughing, a very pleasant individual to be around. May his family & all that he was acquainted with find comfort in memories of times gone by. Rest In Peace!

Back in the day, when I worked with Tommy to resolve order issues, even if it was a rough, stressful day,  he would have me laughing by the end of our phone call.

I always appreciated his sense of humor, his giggle, and his ability to find the silliness of things.

After I learned of Tommy’s passing, I took some time to mourn his loss, and to realize the world won’t be nearly, as much fun without you in it.

Condolences to all of Tommy's family and friends.  Tommy was a great person who I had a lot of good times with.  I worked with him for many years at United/Sprint.  We played golf several times in Kansas when we worked in different areas for Sprint.  He had a one-of-a-kind sense of humor and always brought a smile or a laugh to his friends when they were around him.  As a fellow veteran I highly respect his service to his Country.  After retirement we would occasionally meet for a few beers and to catch up on what was going on.  I will truly miss Tommy as he was a good friend.

Our time spent together on that vacation, was one of the best times of my life.  I will forever treasure the memories we all made together.  You will be oh so missed.   Rest in peace, dear Uncle brother.

I always enjoyed playing with Tommy when we were kids. Charles. Sharon, Tommy and myself all played together when we had a chance. We were all the same age or close to it. Sharon and I are the only ones left out of this group. 
When I lived in Jerseyville Tommy and Johanne stopped and visited with me and Darrell. I was so excited that they took time out of their schedule to stop by and say hi. 
I enjoyed seeing him at the reunions when he was there and when I got to come. 
He was a great cousin we didn’t see each other often as we grew older but rest assured he was loved by many. God’s blessings be with you all during this difficult time.

We are so sorry for your loss. Tom and I went to High school together and graduated from Waterloo. Tom and I really had some great times as friends while attending school, Tom had away of making people laugh with his antics. We both were going to go in the marines under buddy system in the summer of 1969, I deferred to fall of that year. Tom came home for Christmas  leave. While home on his leave he stopped by the house and gave me some pointers about boot camp, Tom's gesture meant so much to me. We kinda lost track of each other and life goes on. Tom has and will be always a good friend of mine. He truly will be missed but always in my thoughts

I consider Tommy Both a Personal and Professional Friend of mine for nearly 30 years.  His Significant Contributions throughout Sprint LTD, Sprint North Supply and Embarq as a Network Engineer and NESP National Standards Manager are only matched by his Wonderful Personality and the Scores of Friendships he made with so many throught his life.

Tommy and I worked together in the same department for many years in Mansfield, Ohio when it was Embarq. He was one of my best friends and we occasionally kept in touch after retirement.
