On Saturday, September 18, 2010 at around 10:15 pm, heaven gained another angel. She slipped away quietly and peacefully to join her beloved husband and soul mate, Lindy “Pete” Pedro, whom she missed so very much since his passing on February 14, 2007.
Charlotte lived in Humboldt County most all her life and on the Samoa peninsula since 1953 in the house that Lindy built for them. She worked at the local phone company for several years and raised their two sons, Jack and Michael. She also volunteered at Mad River Hospital where she helped in the gift shop for almost twenty years. Charlotte and Lindy had many good and very interesting years together. They went on many trips, one of which was a long awaited trip to Alaska, where they saw and did many things together. They played pranks on friends and family members, even painted houses on the side, well just one house on the side. The laughter never ended and B.S. always flowed well in the Pedro house.
Charlotte is preceded in death by her husband, Lindy Pedro, her oldest son, Jack, and numerous friends and family.
She is survived by her youngest son, Mike Pedro, her granddaughter, Melissa Rapp, grandsons, Duncan and Josh, seven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews who were all very special to her.
