

Karen Lynn King was born January 6, 1949 in Albany, California and passed away February 27, 2010 in Fieldbrook, California. Karen passed away from a broken heart after the death of her oldest son Kellen, three weeks ago. She was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin. She loved Humboldt County, the cabin in Trinity, and all animals. She loved being a mom. Karen saw a stranger and made a friend. She made a house a home. She made holidays and birthdays the best. Karen is survived by her husband Gale King; son Gabriel King; and brother Ron Banducci. She was preceded in death by son Kellen King; father William Banducci; and mother Edna Banducci. A Visitation will be held Saturday March 6, 2010 from 9-11am at Paul's Chapel, Arcata, CA. A Service will follow at 12 Noon at LDS Stake Center, McKinleyville, CA with President Kevin Hamblin officiating. Grave Dedication will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Arcata, CA. Pallbearers will be Matthew King, Ray Blair, Tom Richardson, Harold Shamp, John Grondalski, Jeff Lindsey, Jack Williams and Nick Albert. Memorial contributions may be made to Fieldbrook Volunteer Fire Department. Karen, mom will live in our hearts forever. Love always and forever Gale and Gabriel.
