Paloma Mercedes Masten

Masten "Nana" Paloma passed away peacefully on Sept 12, 2011 in her home at the age of 85. Paloma was born at home in Arcata Ca. on July 5, 1926. She was a Yurok Tribal member. She was the wife of the late Paul Masten Sr. and survived by her children, Sandra and Romaine Calvin, Millie and Keith Hostler Sr., Stanley and Nelda Masten, Sammy and Bessie Masten, Lonnie Masten, Linda Masten, Sherall Masten, Thelma Masten, 112 grand kids, great grand kids and 1 great great grandchild. Paloma was preceded in death by her father Lloyd Parks, mother Lillian McDonald, children Paul Masten Jr., David Masten Sr., Joseph Masten Sr., Ada Rocha, Grandchildren, Stacy Bowie, Lynn Masten, Lillian Benson, Joseph Matsen Jr., Farron Robbins, Travis Juan Jr. Paloma was loved by all who knew her. She considered them family.
