Although Bob owned and operated a floor covering business, he made his career the full time ministry. He was baptized as a servant of Jehovah in 1971. He had the privilege of serving as an Elder and full-time Pioneer for many years. During that time he also served where the need for Kingdom proclaimers was greater. Also, he helped in starting a new congregation in Denton NC. Besides these things he enjoyed helping in the construction of Kingdom Halls in North and South Carolina, Virginia and New York as well as the Branch facility in the Caribbean country of Curacao.
He deeply loved the friends. He encouraged them to stay focused on their worship and the ministry. His greatest joy would be in knowing that his example had encouraged others to put the ministry first in their lives and to endure to the end.
Bob was 74 years old when he passed away at the Greybrier Nursing Home in Archdale NC, on Tuesday January 1st 2013. He was born in High Point NC on March 28th 1938.
