He was preceded in death by his parents, Chester Riley Thompson and Betty Jean Killian Thompson and brother, Robert Thompson.
He leaves behind his loving wife Jackie Braunstein of the home; sisters, Donna Thompson of Greensboro, Bettina Thompson of High Point and Mary Hargis of Farmington, MO; brothers, John Thompson of St. Louis, MO and David Thompson of Fresno, CA; two daughters, Ariel Conway of Ironton, MO and Kimberly Stallings of High Point; numerous nieces,nephews, cousins and honorary grandsons, Josh, Shay, Zack and Lane.
A memorial service will be held on Monday at 7:00pm at Faith Baptist Church in Archdale. The family will receive friends on Monday at the church from 6-7:00pm prior to the service.
