Mrs Janice Sue Hill Sweat

Janice was born in in Norton, Virginia on June 24, 1954 to the late Harlen Spencer and Lillie Mae Hill.

Janice’s grandchildren were her world and she spent her life taking care of others. She loved people and she never met a stranger. Janice was loved by many family and friends and will be forever missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Carroll Sweat; her brother Kenneth Wayne Hill and her sister Linda Diane Hill.

She is survived by her daughter, Betty Sweat and husband Pablo Valencia of Trinity, her granddaughter, Ana Maria Hernandez of Trinity, her grandson, Jacoby Yanez of Trinity, three sisters; Barbara Davis and husband Frank of Virginia, Karen White and husband Jim of West Virginia, Sheila Jessee and husband Mike of Virginia, two brothers; Roger Hill and wife Treva of Virginia and Gordon Hill of Virginia.

A visitation will be held from 6-8 pm on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at Sechrest Funeral Service in Archdale. The funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Friday, April 8, 2016 at the Sechrest Funeral Service chapel with interment immediately following at Floral Garden Park Cemetery, 1730 W. English Rd., High Point, NC 27262.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the family.
