I'll never forget the time that Aunt Lestie, my Mom, Aunt Eva and I spent a Saturday night together at a hotel right on the ocean at Virginia Beach back in 1993 or 1994.  Aunt Lestie was determined to see the sun come up, so she stood for hours staring out the balcony door at the ocean and horizon.  It turned out to be a really clear day, not a cloud in the sky, and what a gorgeous sunrise it was!  Shortly after that, Mitchell called to wish her a Happy Mother's Day.  Rest in peace, Aunt Lestie.  I have yet to meet anybody who could cook summer squash as delicious as yours!  My deepest sympathies to Mitchell, Donna Faye, Roger, Richard and the entire family.
