Sherri Gayle Johnson, age 63, of Denton, North Carolina passed away on Thursday August 29, 2019. Sherri was born December 27, 1955 in Guilford County, NC to the late Ellis and Patricia Hayworth Johnson.
Sherri had a very kind soul and a good heart. She was really strong in her faith and her love for God.
Sherri is preceded in death by her mother and father, Patricia Hayworth Johnson and Ellis Grey Johnson; William Bates and numerous aunts and uncles.
Sherri is survived by her two sons, Joe Moore and Michael Bates; granddaughters Samantha Moore, Jesa Galloway; two grandsons, Colton and Brandon Bates; her brother Lee Johnson; nephews Shane Johnson, Joseph Johnson; niece Erin Moore; and one great nephew Colson Johnson.
