Akemi Noda Iwadate was born on January 26, 1957 in Japan to Kozo and Yukie Suzuki. She died Sunday, August 8, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Akemi was the owner of Sushi Station in Rolling Meadows, one of the first kaiten sushi restaurants in Illinois.
Her interests and hobbies included floral arrangements, craft making, scuba diving, hosting amazing dinner parties, singing karaoke with her good friends and traveling around the world with her family and loving husband.
Akemi is survived by her spouse Kunio Iwadate, her sons Akiyuki Noda and Shingo Noda as well as her mother Yukie Suzuki.
She was preceded in death by her father Kozo Suzuki.
