She died August 16, 2014 at Manor Care in Arlington Heights.Alice was an active long time member and Bible study group leader at St. Peter Lutheran Church.Alice is survived by her children Thomas and William (Phyllis) Hughes and Martha Wicker; her grandsons Cary and William; her siblings Lorna (late Ed) Schroeder and Edgar (Carol) Pfingsten.Alice is preceded in death by her husband Eugene "Gene" Hughes.Visitation 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Friday at the Glueckert Funeral Home, 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd.,(four blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights and from 10:00 AM until the time of Funeral Service at 11:00 AM, Saturday at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 111 W.
