Alyce M. Gilarski

Alyce dedicated her life to being the best mom, daughter, and wife she could be. Her unwavering love and kindness were the foundation of her family, and she was the epitome of unconditional love. Alyce worked for the Archdiocese for over 30 years, a role she cherished deeply and served with grace and devotion.

She was the kind of mother everyone hopes for—gentle, strong, and endlessly giving. Her compassion extended to all who knew her, and her presence brought comfort and joy.

Alyce will be forever missed, but her spirit lives on in the love she gave so freely.

Alyce is survived by her loving husband, Keith Gilarski; children, Kathryn Sales, Elizabeth (Don) Holder, Nicole (Tim) McCann; six grandchildren; siblings, JoAnne (Tom) Cox and Marguerite Harrington; and her niece, Rebecca Medder.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Kristine Gilarski; grandson, Thomas Sales; and her parents.

Family will be receiving guests from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Friday, October 3, 2025 at Glueckert Funeral Home, 1520 N Arlington Heights Rd, Arlington Heights, IL 60004. An additional visitation will take place on Saturday, October 4, 2025 beginning at 10:00 AM until time of Mass at 11:00 AM at St. Alphonsus Liguori Church, 411 N. Wheeling, Prospect Heights, IL 60070. Interment at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Cemetery.
