He died Monday, June 23, 2014 in Arlington Heights.Ben worked as a Sales Manager for the Nestle Corporation for 33 years. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed traveling with his wife, Marilyn. Ben loved to spend time with his family and was loved by all. Ben is survived by his spouse Marilyn Stothart (nee Barney), whom he married December 1, 1946 in Uniontown, PA; children, Ben (Linda) Stothart, Janice (Bob) Sargert, Judith (Mike) McNulty, and Jeffrey (Mary Sue) Stothart; grandchildren, Wendy (Nick) Hromiak, Erik (Taryn) Stothart, Bret (Natalie) Stothart, Julia (Charles) McNiel, and Sarah Stothart; great-grandchildren, Alexa and Ryan Hromiak, Devon and Kinsey Stothart, Madilyn, Katherine, and Charlotte McNiel and Benjamin Stothart. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, George Stothart, Thelma Bosley, Rose Marie Davidson, Betty Jean Lucia, and Ruth Burke. Visitation Saturday, June 28, 2014 from 10:00 am until the 11:00 am Funeral Service at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 North Arlington Heights.
