Beverly J. GlassOf Arlington HeightsBeverly Glass was born on October 15, 1944 in Chicago to Chester and Mary (nee Razaitis) Pietrzyk. She died unexpectedly on Monday, August 15, 2016 in Arlington Heights.Beverly was a wonderful wife, friend, and loving mother to her children." There isn"t an adjective we"ve been able to find to describe the love she had for her grandchildren. She found joy in everything she did whether it be scoring an amazing deal at a local retailer, playing games with her grandchildren, or traveling with her husband Bill. She enjoyed going to her monthly breakfasts with her lifelong girlfriends. Bev and Bill were avid movie-goers and one indication of our father"s undying love for our mother was his willingness to sit through any romantic comedy of her choosing. One of Bev"s happiest moments was taking a Disney Cruise with her entire family last fall. "The smile on her face lasted for weeks. Beverly also worked as a cook in the central kitchen for District 25 insuring that grade schoolers in the area would not starve. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Arlington Heights." If you ever needed to find her on a Sunday morning, she had a pew. Fourth row. Left side. Every week. She lived her life in service of others and could always be counted on in times of need." She was the most selfless person in the universe." Beverly was up for doing anything with anyone but her greatest joy was being with family, especially her grandchildren. She was loved by all and will be truly missed.Beverly is survived by her spouse Bill, whom she married on October 16, 1965; children, Billy (Kim) Glass and MaryBeth (Ken) Habel; grandchildren, Brady and Griffin Glass, Will, Jack, and Abby Habel; sister, Roberta (Jim) Dolos; and nephew, Chris Dolos."
