It is with great sadness that the family of Bogdan Waz announces his passing. Bogdan "Bob" Waz, 54, of Arlington Heights, IL passed away Friday, March 19, 2021. He will forever be remembered as a devoted husband, caring, and fun-loving father for his six wonderful children. Those who knew him will remember him for his genuine smile and endless generosity. He was a very active member in the Knights of Columbus and always offered his help wherever and whenever needed. He was a self-employed contractor who loved to build, create, and support his family. He will be most remembered for the limitless love and devotion that he shared with us.

He was born on May 2, 1966, in Poland to Zygmunt and Zofia Waz.

Bogdan is survived by his wife, Malgorzata "Margaret"; his children Annie, Martin, Kamil, Jenny, Michael, and Jacob Waz; his siblings Barbara (Henry) Majcher, Jadwiga (Wladyslaw) Pater, Andy (Lucy), Witold (Malgorzata), Krzysztof (Jolonta) and Zbigniew (Krystyna) Waz; sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and their families; and his many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Tuesday, March 23, 2021, at the Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, Illinois. Face masks are required, social distancing and capacity limits (50) are in effect. Guests should prepare to wait outside for entry. Funeral Mass 11:00 am, Wednesday, March 24, 2021at St. Hyacinth Basilica, 3636 West Wolfram, Chicago, Illinois. Burial following Mass at St. Adalbert Cemetery 6800 N Milwaukee Ave, Niles, IL 60714
