Bruce was the beloved husband to the late Gertrude (nee Fosbinder) Wolter; loving father to the late Scott Wolter, Stacey (Mike) Carpenter, and Shawn Wolter; fond grandfather to Christoph Wolter, Caitlin Carpenter, Mackenzie Carpenter, Brad (Anna) Wolter, Kyle Wolter, and Adam Wolter; dear great grandfather to Daniel Wolter; brother to the late Roger Wolter and Pete Wolter; and fond uncle to many nieces and nephews. He will be missed dearly.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that a donation in Bruce’s name be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Visitation will be on Sunday, January 11, 2026, from 2:00 – 6:00 PM at Glueckert Funeral Home, 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights, IL 60004. The funeral service will be on Monday, January 12, 2026, at Glueckert Funeral Home starting at 10:30 AM, friends and family are welcome to start arriving at 10:00 AM on Monday. Burial will follow the service at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Arlington Heights, IL.
