Carol J. Erickson Of Prospect HeightsCarol J. Erickson was born on July 5, 1938 in Hollywood, California to Robert and Alphilde (nee Anderson) Peterson. She died Saturday, January 16, 2016 at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, Illinois.Carol was an administrative assistant for the Baptist General Conference before retiring. She attended Bethel University in St. Paul, MN, where she met her husband Bruce, and graduated from Northwestern University, Evanston, Il in 1989, with Bachelor"s degree in Communications.Carol is survived by her husband, Bruce V. Erickson; her son, Bradd R. (Christi) Erickson; her daughter, Beth M. (Jon) Martens; her grandchildren, Braddley, Ashley, and Ethan Erickson, Tyler, Anna, and Erik Martens; her brother, Bruce (Maggie) Peterson, her sister, Janice (Norman) Pihl; and her many nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents.Visitation from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Wednesday, January 20, 2016 and from 10:00 AM until time of the Funeral Service at 11:00 am, Thursday, January 21, 2016 at Life Community Church, 1500 E Central Rd, Mount Prospect, Illinois. Committal Service proceeding from church to Ridgewood Cemetery at 2:00 PM.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Bethel University, 3900 Bethel Drive, St. Paul, MN 55112.
