The Homewood-Flossmoor High School family of alumni and teachers send their condolences and sympathy on your loss. Caroline was a proud Viking and the class of 2001 is profoundly sad on the news of her passing. We will hold her memory dear to our hearts.

I met Caroline through the professional organization SMPS. We were in a study group for certification, later became moms around the same time, then bonded over trying to figure out how to juggle everything during the pandemic. As an introvert myself, Caroline was always a welcoming person that I didn't have to worry about making small talk with at industry events. I could talk about the tough stuff with her, like she was so supportive during my dad's long illness. More than anything I remember her as caring, kind, and someone that loved her family deeply. I send my sincere condolences to them for this heartbreaking loss.

I had the honor of working with Caroline at Wight & Company. She was incredibly passionate about her work, and unquestionably dedicated, but she was also tremendously fun!
Proposal work is high pressure and deadine intensive... She helped keep everyone positive and focused in both big and little ways. She decorated her space with bright colors and patterns. She championed selecting a mascot for the Marketing team in the form of a palm tree... beautiful, tropical, and yet strong and resilient. We bought small neon palm trees for each member of the team as a result, and made everyone smile. One of her favorite phrases was, "What an opportunity!" And we would chuckle, roll our eyes, roll up our sleeves, and get started.
Work aside, she was an incredibly kind person and a tremendously talented photographer. The photos she took of her kids were nothing short of AMAZING!!! She adored her children and deeply loved Josh for so many reasons, including his wonderfully romantic side.
Those of us who work together often spend more time together than we do with our families, at leadt during the work week. I am so very fortunate to have had the opportunity to get to know Caroline. Caroline, we will ALL miss you!

My hearts breaks reading this obituary. Caroline and Meredith were my kids in many ways in the 80’s. The girls would come over and ride their Big Wheels on my driveway. So much fun seeing them grow. Great parents and sister. I can’t express my sorrow only to say I am crying as I write this memory. I hope she meets up with Brian in heaven.
