Christine "Christie" Lynn McCarthy was born August 7, 1989 in Evanston to Brian McCarthy and Maureen (nee Church) Knight. She died August 8, 2014 in Wheeling.Christie had several passions in life. She was able to use her passions to help connect with many people. Whether it was inspiring someone with her love of health and fitness, bonding through the words of her favorite song or encouraging people through her writing.Christie is survived by her mother Maureen; her step father Steven Knight; her brothers Steven (Danielle) Kogen and Justin Fox; and by her grandmother Dolores Ann Church.Christie is preceded in death by her father Brian; her grandparents Robert Church and Mr. and Mrs. William McCarthy.Visitation Wednesday, August 13, 2014 from 3:00 PM until the time of funeral service at 7:00 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N.
