Coreen Patricia Vicini

Coreen Patricia Vicini (Peters) passed away peacefully on March 18th, at the age of 93. Coreen was born on September 14th, 1932, to Ernest and Gertrude Peters (Murray) in Chicago IL and grew up in the Jefferson Park neighborhood. After graduating high school, she met and married Victor L Vicini and they spent the next 51 years together until Vic’s death on September 9, 2004.

Vic and Cor moved to Morton Grove in 1959 with their two children Michael “Vince” Vicini (Deborah) and Victoria Ann Hamann (James). Cor lived in the house for 66 years where they hosted holidays, birthdays and the annual neighborhood Christmas party.

Cor loved gardening, traveling, entertaining, dining, and most of all loved spending time with her 6 grandchildren, Dante, Anthony, Meghan (Phil), Caitlin (Tim) Thomas (Kristin) and Ryan, and her 7 great grandchildren. Morgan, Ben, Luke, Fiona, Jameson, Taylor, and McKenzie. Cor had a brother Daryl “Tim” Peters who preceded her in death.

There will be a private service for the family.
