Daniel P. McCloy was born in Oak Park, Illinois to John and Irene (nee Sullivan) McCloy. He passed away in Arlington Heights, Illinois on April 11, 2024.

Mr. McCloy graduated from St. Ambrose College in Davenport, Iowa in 1959 and worked for the State of Illinois as a medical consultant.

Daniel's survivors include his wife of 44 years Dolores T. (nee Salvo) McCloy; his daughters Mary (David) Wyatt of Elmhurst, Nancy I. McCloy of Wheeling, and Kathleen P. (Greg) Barchman of Lakemoor; his step daughters, Kimberly (Terry) Frederick of Wisconsin, and Ronee Kieft of Palatine; his grandchildren Nancy, Sara, and Cynthia, and Timothy, Nicole, and Branden; and his step-grandchildren Nickolas and Brianna.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Kathleen Ann McCloy and his parents.

Visitation from 10:00AM until time of the Funeral Mass at 11:00AM Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at Our Lady of the Wayside Church, 440 S. Mitchell, Arlington Heights, Illinois Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside, Illinois.
