Darlene June Griesmeyer

Of Buffalo Grove 

Darlene June Griesmeyer was born June 5, 1936 in Burton, KS to Abraham and Lucile (nee Nuding) Heidebrecht. She passed away September 30, 2017 at Sedgebrook in Lincolnshire. 

Darlene taught in District 214, at Wheeling High School, for 32 years, where she was admired by students and colleagues alike. 

Darlene is survived by her husband Dennis W. Griesmeyer; her son Christopher S. (Jaymi) Griesmeyer; her grandchildren Matthew, Benjamin and Samantha; her siblings Marge (late Dean) Broderick, James (Carol) Heidebrecht, Vita Wolfe, Michael (Judi) Heidebrecht and by many nieces and nephews.  

Darlene is preceded in death by her brother Clarence Heidebrecht and by her parents. Funeral mass 9:30 AM, Thursday, October 5, 2017 at Our Lady of the Wayside Catholic Church, 440 S. Mitchell Ave., Arlington Heights, IL 60005.  Interment private.
