Dean J. Henkel was born on October 26, 1952 in Berwyn, IL to Joseph and Elizabeth Henkel. He died Thursday, September 26, 2019 in Brookfield, WI.
Dean retired from the position of Chief Operation Officer for Great Western Industries in Dallas, TX. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoyed playing cards, golfing and debating especially after a good martini, and most of all loved to spend time with his large family, and was loved by all.
Dean is survived by his spouse of 17 years, Mary (nee Topczewski) Henkel; beloved Susan Henkel (Danny); daughters, Chris Henkel (Dan), and Heather Henkel (Eric); granddaughters, Rae and Erin; sister, Donna Kenslea and a large loving family.
Memorial Visitation October 26, 2019 from 11:00 am until the 1:30 pm Memorial Service at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 North Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, IL 60004.
