Denise Gordon was born on May 29, 1952 in Chicago to John and Theresa (nee Fricano) Geraci. She died Wednesday, March 11, 2020 in Arlington Heights.

Mrs. Gordon worked as an elementary school teacher for School District #102 for 32 years. She was a member of St. Edna Catholic Church in Arlington Heights. Denise loved movies, reading, shopping and loved to vacation with family and friends. She loved to spend time with her family especially her grandchildren, and was loved by all..

Denise is survived by her spouse of 38 years, James; children, Amy Gordon-Collins, Diana (Christopher) Beckman; grandchildren, Kylie Collins, Mia Beckman and Daniella Beckman; siblings, Mark (Maureen) Geraci, Greg (Donna) Geraci,Tom (Lezlie) Geraci and John (Jory) Geraci, Jr.; sister-in-laws, Linda (Don) Oakes and Kathy Gordon; brother-in-law, Larry (Debbie) Gordon; and Many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Friday, March 13, 2020 at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road (four blocks south of Palatine Road), Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Prayers 9:00 am, Saturday, March 14, 2020 at the funeral home proceeding to St. Emily Catholic Church, 1400 E. Central Road, Mt. Prospect, IL 60056 for a 10:00 am Funeral Mass. Interment will be at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery in Palatine.
