Diana C. Moreno

Diana C. Moreno was born December 25, 1945 in Chicago to James and Esther (nee Marx) Bateman. She passed away April 12, 2024 at The Lutheran Home in Arlington Heights.

Diana lived a life of service and faith, and would do anything in her power to help someone in need. Her faith was one of the most important things to her, and it could be witnessed in everything that she did. Spending time with her family was a priority for Diana, and she always made sure that she made time for the entire family no matter how busy she was. She worked many different jobs throughout the years but the majority of her time working was as an executive secretary for HSBC until she retired. One of her favorite places to be was Walcamp where she volunteered for many years doing various duties, but mainly helping to make sure that the fall festival vendor fair was a success. She later went on to work for Walcamp part time after she retired helping run all activities and fundraising activities. Diana also loved to travel whether it was with family or friends, she was always up for an adventure. She made life changing memories with some amazing people during her trips to the holy land spreading the lords message that she felt so strongly about. Even in retirement she always kept busy whether it was volunteering at the food bank, singing in the church choir, or just knitting everyone she knew a blanket. She was also a long time member of the local Tres Dias group where she made some of the most precious memories and friendships.

Diana is survived by her daughter Robin (Ron) Bartlett; her granddaughters Colette (Blake) Martinez and Amber Bartlett.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation Saturday, April 27, 2024 from 12:00 PM until the time of funeral service at 4:00 PM at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Interment private.
