Dolores Sabina BihunOf Arlington HeightsDolores Sabina Bihun was born on February 23, 1934 in Chicago to Stephen and Celeste (nee Miecznikowski) Bihun. She died Tuesday, August 16, 2016 in Arlington Heights.After graduating from Mundelein College, Dolores worked as an assistant engineer for Illinois Bell then AT&T in Chicago. Dolores loved watching old movies, especially silent films. Similar to her father, she had a passion for art, especially using water colors, and enjoyed cake decorating. In addition to vacationing in the United States, she also spent time traveling to Canada and Europe. In recent years, Dolores enjoyed Bible Study and visiting with friends at Luther Village. Dolores loved to spend time with her family, especially her nephews and great-nephews and was loved by all. Dolores is survived by her sister, Stephanie (William) Chorba; nephews, Mark (Karyn) Teolis, Stephen (Mem) Teolis, David (Dawn) Teolis, Brian (Sharon) Chorba and Michael (JoAnne) Chorba; great-nephews, Anthony Teolis, John Teolis, Ethan Chorba and Alex Chorba. She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Therese Teolis.Special Thanks to her care team, Olive, Maggie, and Beatrice they,and the JourneyCare Hospice Team provided Dolores with comfort, peace, and dignity in her final days. Services and interment were private.
