Dora carried on the Italian traditions of her parents and was an outstanding cook. She was devoutly religious and loved getting together with her family. Her compassionate disposition and light hearted nature were evident to all she came in contact with. She was a life long Notre Dame football fan and an avid Cubs fan. In her later years, she enjoyed golfing weekly in the Tam O Shanter Senior Women’s Golf League.
Dora is survived by her husband of 75 years, Nicholas Gramarossa; son, Gerald (Vanessa) Gramarossa; grandchildren; Lisa, Dan, Michael, Matt and Christopher.
She is preceded in death by her son, Thomas; her parents; and siblings, Louis, Elena, Robert and Richard.

Family will be receiving guests at St. Edna Catholic Church, 2525 N Arlington Heights Rd, Arlington Heights, IL 60004 on Saturday, November 8, 2025 from 9:00 AM until time of Mass, which begins at 10:00 AM. A procession will follow to All Saints Catholic Cemetery, 700 N River Rd, Des Plaines, IL 60016 for inurnment immediately following Mass.
