She died Sunday, September 11, 2016 at Autumn Leaves of Arlington Heights in Arlington Heights, Illinois.Dorothy, "a grateful ovarian cancer survivor for 29 years, was a great cook and an outstanding seamstress. She"loved to spend time with her family, especially her granddaughter Samantha, and was deeply cherished by all.Dorothy is survived by her children Barbara Henriksen-Bruno, William (Mary) Henriksen, and Kristine Henriksen; her granddaughter, Samantha Dorothy (Fianc" Manuel Mejia) Bruno: her nieces and nephews Kenneth (Carol) Morydz, John (Elise) Dykas, Stephen (Margie) Morris, Paul (Dorothy) Morris, Rita Dykas, Susan Henriksen, William, Loretta and Ann Marie Mercurio: and her grand dogs Bobbie, Moosie, and Sarge.She was preceded in death by her husband, William; her parents; her siblings Joseph (Marie) Morydz, Eleanor (Mike) Dykas, and Chester (Marcella) Morris; and her niece Sharon (Ralph) Worth.Visitation from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Thursday, September 15, 2016 at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, Illinois 60004. Prayers 8:45 am, Friday, September 16, 2016 at the Funeral Home, proceeding to Our Lady of the Wayside Catholic Church, 440 S. Mitchell, Arlington Heights, Illinois 60005 for Mass at 9:30 am.
