Edgar Ronald LeMasterOf Arlington HeightsEdgar Ronald LeMaster was born December 16, 1935 in Elmhurst, IL to Hager and Anna (nee Giles) LeMaster. He passed away September 14, 2015 at Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington.Ed was employed as an electrical engineer draftsman for The Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Chicago. Ed enjoyed traveling, woodworking, computer photo editing and auto CAD designing. He was an avid sports fan and loved cheering for the Cubs, Blackhawks, Bulls and Bears. His favorite sport to watch was anything his grandchildren participated in.Ed is survived by his wife of 55 years, Rita (nee Herman) LeMaster; his children Jill LeMaster, Sharon (Steve) Griffin, Jack LeMaster and Susan LeMaster; his grandchildren Matthew and Caitlin Griffin, Joey and Nick LeMaster; his nieces and nephews Steve (Judi) Rachke, Dan (Christine) Rachke, Tim (Jaci) Rachke and Christine (Dan) Repplinger.Ed is preceded in death by His mother and father in law John and Margaret Herman; his brother and sister in law Vince and Lyn Rachke and by his parents.Visitation Friday, September 18, 2015 from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. In State Saturday, September 19, 2015 from 9:00 AM until the time of Funeral mass at 10:00 AM at St. Edna Catholic Church, 2525 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, IL 60004.
