Edith M. Meyer

Edith M. Meyer was born January 9, 1924 in Winchester, KY to the late James and Blanche (nee Smith) Stone and passed away April 3, 2012 at The Manor at Blue Water Bay Nursing Center in Niceville, FL surrounded by her loving family. Edith was the beloved wife of the late Richard R.; loving mother of Faith A. (Gill) Gladding and Nancy C. (David) Hogan; cherished grandmother of Darin (Sarah) Gladding and Eric and Amy Hogan; great – grandmother of Dylan and Braden and dear sister of the late James Stone. A private family funeral service was held officiated by Dr. Harry L. Parker April 7, 2012. Interment was in the Arlington Heights Wheeling Township Cemetery in Arlington Heights, IL. Edith is remembered for her generous and joyful spirit and love for her family. She enjoyed serving in many capacities at The South Church in Mt. Prospect, IL over the years. Edith retired from GTE in Des Plaines, IL and shared many fond memories from her years employed there.
