Edward George Lamich

Edward George Lamich was born June 28, 1928 in Evanston, Illinois to Edward and Eleanor (nee O"Callaghan) Lamich. He died August 21, 2014 at his home in Arlington Heights.Edward was a pilot for the Navy Air Corps, then for United Airlines until his retirement in 1988.Edward is survived by his wife Virginia (nee Wiltgen) Lamich; his children Mary (Charles) Romack, Kathryn Fisher, Patricia (William) Fullriede, John Lamich and Joseph (Kathleen) Lamich; his grandchildren Stephen, Anna, Kelly, Dan, Katie, Jack and Michael and by his siblings Margaret (late Martin) Devaney and George (Bonnie) Lamich.Edward is preceded in death by daughter Ann Lamich; his sister Rosemary (late Harold) Smith and by his parents.Visitation from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Sunday, August 24, 2014 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Funeral mass 11:00 AM, Monday August 25, 2014 at Our Lady of the Wayside Church, 440 S. Mitchell, Arlington Heights.
