Eileen Marie Kellen

Eileen M Kellen was born December 5, 1942 to the late James and Alice (nee Sorensen) Goggin. She passed away on December 8, 2023, at home in Arlington Heights. Eileen was the youngest of five siblings, Peggy, Jim, Mickey, and Jack all of whom preceded her in death.

Eileen was a teacher spending most of her career in District 26 in Mt. Prospect and District 21 in Wheeling. During her career she taught students in preschool programs through eighth grade as well as specials needs students.

After she retired, she enjoyed reading, traveling, and was involved in the Outreach Ministries at St. Edna and St. James on Wabash serving on the St. James Social Care Board.

She is survived by her husband, Donald, her son Matthew (Ingrid Clark), grandchildren, Iggy and Opal, brother and sister in-laws, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation12/20/23 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. Edna Catholic Church, 2525 N Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights. Interment will be private at All Saints Cemetery.
