Elaine G. Paloian

Elaine Guinevere Paloian was born June 25, 1929 and passed away peacefully February 2, 2015 after a lengthy illness. She was the daughter of Gladys Detrick and Merle Poland. She leaves behind her beloved husband of 58 years, Avedis Paloian, her three loving children Cheryl, Laurie and John, her loving daughter-in-law Karen and son-in-law Larry, her treasured grandchildren Heidi, Jason, CJ, Bobby, Alyssa and Michael and great-granddaughter Madeline. She will join her grandson Adam in heaven. She also leaves behind 2 sisters from Des Moines, Iowa and a brother living in Chicago. She will best be remembered as a beloved wife, a doting mother and a generous grandmother. She loved her family and friends, playing golf and bridge and had a great joy of reading. Some of her accomplishments include being a registered nurse, writing for the Des Plaines journal, being a Girl Scout leader, a gourmet cook, a Club Champion in golf and a tournament bridge player. She will live in her family's hearts forever. In accordance with the family’s wishes, there will be no visitation or public funeral service.
