Frederick M. Sachs

Fred is predeceased by his mother Mildred Sachs, father Fred C Sachs, first wife Kathryn Sachs, and his loving wife of 37 years Helen Louise Sachs.

Fred was a Beloved father to Sharene Dvoracek (the late Rick), Amy Skrypek (Robert), Paul West (Dawn), Ron Anderson (Jessica ), Diana Ware(Stephen), Charles Anderson (Judy), the late David and Ruth Anderson.

Grandfather to Jeffrey Ware (Lisa), Kevin Ware (Alyssa), Robert West (Meaghan), Tina Wischhover (Christopher), Chase Skrypek(Alex), John West (Alexa), Bradley Dvoracek, Connor Skrypek (Sam Puhl), Cara Pirro (Matthew)

Great Grandfather to Roman, Sebastian, Charlotte, Bodhi, Lennon, Shay, Bruin, Aubrey, Leah, and Kayden.

Fred was born in Ashton Illinois on June 24 1928. He graduated From Ashton High School in 1946. Fred Graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in Electrical Engineering in 1951, then served as Cpl in the United States Army 1951-1953. Fred went on to work with Commonwealth Edison and obtained his MBA from University of Chicago in 1963. He worked for Commonwealth Edison for 37 years. Fred also served as chairperson for Family Care Services of Metropolitan Chicago, and was a member of the Rotary club.

Fred enjoyed spending time with his family, Golfing, fishing, bowling, traveling, wood working, and volunteering.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday November 9, 2024 at Glueckert Funeral Home 1520 N Arlington Heights Rd Arlington Heights Illinois 60004 Visitation from 10:00-12:00. Memorial service to take place at 12:00PM
