George Fox Westwood Jr. was born July 21, 1934 in Elgin to George Fox Sr. and Lucie Geraldine (nee Jones) Westwood. He passed away peacefully on September 11, 2021 at Inverness Health and Rehabilitation in Inverness.
Mr. Westwood proudly served his county in the United States Marine Corps. He worked for 34 years in the Trust Department as a Liaison between the Chicago and New York branches of 1st National Bank. After retiring from the banking industry, George worked at Svoboda’s Men’s Store until it’s closing in 1994.
George is survived by his wife of 61 years, Arlene (nee Anderson) Westwood and by his nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held, with military honors on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at Elmwood Cemetery in River Grove, IL .
