Gertrude was the beloved wife of the late Robert Marchetti and the late Harry Hillman; loving mother of Lynn (late Michael) Yauger, Albert (Kathleen) Marchetti, Robert (Lori) Marchetti, Karen (late Sergio) Magallon and Janine Marchetti; cherished grandmother of Noel Berndt, Robert Marchetti, Michael (Tasha) Marchetti, Brady Marchetti, Brooke (Parker) Curtis, Ashley Marchetti, Christine Magallon, Jennilyn Magallon, Amanda Magallon, Trudie Magallon, Thomas (Kelly) Magallon, Anthony (Mary) Marchetti, Michele Piedrahita, Angela Piedrahita and Mary Piedrahita; great-grandmother of Jessica and Holden and dear sister of Carol (Harold) Ulmer and the late Robert (Virginia) Evans and the late Richard (Barbara) Evans; former wife of the late Jack Berndt and loving step-mother to Gregory Berndt, late James Berndt, Mark Berndt, Timothy Berndt, Linda Dioroi and Bradley Berndt.

Visitation will be Wednesday, June 15, 2022 from 4-7 PM at Lauterburg & Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 E. Northwest Highway, Arlington Heights and Thursday, June 16 at The Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-day Saints, 2035 N. Windsor Drive, Arlington Heights from 9:00 AM until the time of the Funeral Service at 10:30 AM.
