

Eloise earned her Bachelor of Education from SUNY Potsdam College in New York. She was an elementary school teacher, and taught in the River Trails School District, as well as elementary schools in St. Louis, and North Carolina. She was active in her community, and was an active member in her church, The Church of the Incarnation, in Arlington Heights. Eloise was also a member of the Choralettes, a women’s choral group, where she arranged music, and played the keyboard. Eloise loved life and was very social. She loved parades, and Frontier Days was a special event for her, where she enjoyed listening to the bands, dancing, and having a beer with her friends.
She is survived by her children, Max, Jr, (Terri) and Lyn (Dwight) El Mace; grandchildren, Matt Brittain, Amanda Nelson, and Amber Mace; and six great-grandchildren who loved her and will miss her very much.
Eloise was a beloved wife, mother of three, grandmother to five, and great grandmother to six. She loved children and shared many experiences and happy moments with them.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Max, and her son, William.
Eloise will be laid to rest next to her husband, Max, and Son, William, in Memory Gardens in Arlington Heights.
