Jake I Tufele, 63, of Chicago, was born December 7, 1949 in Pago Pago, American Samoa to the late Malaeti’a and Fa’ausia Tufele (nee Young), and passed away July 5, 2013 in Arlington Heights. He was the beloved husband of Siufofoga Tufele, nee Mauga; loving father of Jaklyn (Uperesa) Hanipale, and Jovanni Tufele; proud grandfather of Farah, Hope, and the late Jayden; caring brother of twelve; kind uncle of many nieces and nephews. Jake was an Army Veteran, and a Purple Heart recipient. Visitation Friday, July 19, 2013, 3-9pm, at Lauterburg & Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 E. Northwest Hwy, Arlington Heights, IL, 60004. Friends and family will gather, Saturday, July 20, 2013, from 9am until the time of funeral services, 10am, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 5650 N. Canfield, Chicago, IL.
