He died Friday, September 23, 2016 in Park Ridge.James served in the United States Army as a nurse for 20 years, retired as a Captain. He worked as a registered nurse for the VA Hospital in North Chicago, for 34 years. James loved golfing and theater. He loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and was loved by all. James is survived by his spouse of 41 years, Fely, (nee Estepa), whom he married on September 6, 1975 in Niles, children, Nicolle (Michael) Moan, Ryan (Michelle) Legge, and Renee (Alex) Munoz; grandchildren, Benjamin Odisho, Isabelle Moan, Madelyn Moan, Logan Legge, Kenneth - James Moan, Madden Legge, Hudson Legge, Olivia Munoz, and Emma Legge; sisters, Barbara (William) Jackson and Patricia Schueneman. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Don Legge; sister-in-law, Kathleen Legge and brother-in-law, Jay Schueneman. Visitation Wednesday, September 28, 2016 from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road (4 blocks south of Palatine Road), Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Funeral Mass 10:00 am Thursday, September 29, 2016 at St. Mary Parish, 10 N. Buffalo Grove Road, Buffalo Grove, IL 60089. Interment is at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery in Palatine..
