James E. Schuffler was born August 20. 1940 in Waukegan, IL to Howard and Elaine Schuffler. He died May 5, 2021 at his home in Arlington Heights.
His favorite past times were sailing and spending time with his grandchildren.
James is survived by his wife Valery (nee Muff) Schuffler; his children Chris (Susan) Schuffler and Amy (Brett Smock) Schuffler; his grandchildren John, Alex and Sam.
Jim is preceded in death by his sister Kathleen Tapscott and by his parents and his step mother Jane Schuffler.
Funeral services are private, interment will be at First Presbyterian Church in Arlington Heights.
